Ghost It watches you through the doorway It sees you everyday It watches you as you sleep Day after day It watches you get dressed Trying not look You think it doesn’t exist But it knows you like a book You feel it behind you Just think it’s the wind It helps you get through life without any acknowledgement It wants you to be happy It would take your pain for you If it wasn’t so transparent It would fight your battles for you If it had a voice to bear it You think it doesn’t exist When its actually behind you And although it’s hard to believe- I think it’s in love with you.
